A.), Light deposits on the Victory, otherwise EF with long original ribbons. William Norman Grills was born in 1895 and enlisted with the Royal Artillery, Army Reserve on 30 November 1915. Mobilised for service on 5 August 1916 he was posted to France on 30 March 1917. Promoted Bombardier on 14 August 1918, he was demobilised on 2 December 1919; sold together with a bracelet inscribed 'H.
