Okonkolo: Rezos Vinyl 10" Free MP3 music label: Kling Klang 1977"Rezos" or "prayers" in Spanish. For Okonkolos debut on Big Crown Records, the group is drawing on classical musical traditions of the ancient world, fusing them with today's sound and the results are stunning. The four tracks contained on this release are some of the most beautiful and complex renditions of some of the oldest known chants addressing Obatala, the creator of the world, Ochun, the goddess of love and beauty, and Chango, God of the drum.
