the balance is impeccable

It was a most unusual year that was cold and rainy and allowed for no irrigation

A fresh and bright nose speak of red currant

The soft tannins and soft red fruits are dominated by clever work during the ageing process

Louis Jadot, Latricieres Chambertin other_regions_australia the balance is impeccableThis is notably higher toned than the Charmes with a more elegant blend of cool and restrained red currant, raspberry and liqueur of red cherry aromas, all trimmed in an overt stoniness that continues onto the bigger and more obviously concentrated flavors that carry better depth and length on the beautifully balanced if moderately austere finish. I quite like this and the sense of harmony is pronounced. Lovely and entirely classic in style. (92 94)
