This is a Bâtard of finesse and understated rather than overt muscle and imposing size and weight
the palate is beautifully nuanced and poised
full and intense flavors brimming with power and muscle yet this by no means lacks for grace or elegance on the reserved but driving finish
Floral black fruit and spice mark the nose here
Roulot, Meursault Vireuils Blanc Vintage:2020 This is a Bâtard ofThis is aromatically similar if a bit more elegant and certainly more complex and with a touch more floral character as well. There is excellent energy to the detailed and ultra precise flavors that seemed to be extracted directly from liquid stone. I very much like the sense of proportion and balance here plus the overall quality is stunning for a villages level wine. This too is very much worth considering. 90 2017+
