Description

(from Les Pougets in Aloxe-Corton)

gravel & sandstone

Dry and a bit tense after it sat in the glass for an hour

Rich cherry

Propieta Sperino, Lessona Brut Zero (from Les Pougets in Aloxe-Corton)2008 was a cold and difficult vintage, but the wine, first tasted in 2013, is holding up well and shows no astringency. The colour is scarcely evolved and the nose is surprisingly lush, showing bright and juicy cherry fruit. The palate has more weight than Uvaggio but it's supported by good acidity that gives persistence and a finish that's elegant and silky.
