This is a superb embroidered breast eagle from a German WWII Heer (Army) Officers Uniform, with the standard green background, with silver bullion embroidery. These were worn on the breast of the uniform tunic, just above and partly on the pocket. This example was cut off a uniform, complete with the surrounding material, including part of the pocket top flap. The insignia is about 3 1 2" x 1 5 8", with the uniform
