1920 Indian offset lithography, "Shri Krishna Gopi" - Man on lotus with women in striped saris (Ravi Varma Press) nineteenth century fashion Artist: PersiDate: 1920s Size: 10 x 14 inches About the Poster: I don't often find items from India, but when I do, they bring me joy. I was recently fortunate enough to find a portfolio of original lithographs from the (Indian) Ravi Varma Press, created around 1920. Vibrantly coloured and full of references to Hindu gods and goddesses, they are spectacular and a rare find.
