Description

At the start of WW1 Vickers MGs were equipped with canvas water buckets but these were soon found to be unsuitable and these cans soon adopted in their place

Still fully functional the action cycles perfectly with a round barrel and visible rifling in the bore

Initially issued as a "barracks bag" until the duffle bag was introduced

and went to larger calibres where self-destructing shells were available

British Military Issue Ghouli Chit Sten Gun At the start of WW1Original Item: Language translation sheets have been issued since WW2 to both British and U. S. Pilots and other military personnel that were conducting operations in hostile native regions. In WW2 US Pilots had what the USAF called "Blood Chits" sewn onto flight jackets, these were written in local languages and assured the indigenous population that a healthy reward awaited all who assisted US military personnel on the run, mostly from the Japanese.
