The blade and socket are blued, bayonet is 21" overall length, with a 3" socket, 18 11 16" blade and 16 5 8" face flute. This bayonet will fit the most of the later US Trapdoor Muskets and Rifles, please note some rifles vary (sight length, etc) so some fitting maybe required. Original steel
