Excellent condition WWII German SS Side Cap for Other Ranks Personnel, Vet Family Acquired. This cap is produced in field grey wool. The Totenkopf (death Head Skull) and eagle insignia were removed in order to "sanitize" the hat. The outlines of both insignias and stitching can be easily seen.
