Hard Maple Billets for Moxon Vise Hardware Kit CL01-05 1 carry bag and easyThe double screw vise has been around for centuries. Commonly referred to as a Moxon Vise, it is named after Joseph Moxon, who described the double screw vise in his book titled Mechanick Exercises. Often the height of a workbench may be too low for comfort, depending on the task. Building your own Moxon Vise is the perfect way to save your back while elevating your work and hand tool skills. Great for cutting dovetail or mortise and tenon joinery.
