This screw holds the needle jet in place, centers the carburetor return spring, and also houses the throttle cable in relation to the main throttle slide. Made of brass and a very specialty part, this needle screw requires some patience and ingenuity to remove from the throttle slide. Once removed, the needle height can be adjusted by moving part #4 on the needle (part #3 in diagram).
