This is a very nice example of a genuine WWII Front Seam Fixed Bale M1 Helmet made by McCord Radiator, with a Westinghouse liner and helmet net. It also has a very nice camouflage cover, made from a section of a USMC reversible camo poncho. The poncho section has lost a lot of flexibility, indicating it was installed on the helmet decades ago, and now retains the shape permanently. The U. S. WWII M 1 helmet was only
