It was on April 26th that a small town in our division zone became famous when a junction was effected there between two of the most powerful armies in history

and there are a few areas of bubbling and light oxidation

It is marked on the right side of the frame by maker P

The German Feldmtze (Field Cap) was originally used in late WWI, and was a variety of unpeaked garrison cap. After the war, it was replaced by a variety of "Ski Cap" that was based on the Bergmtze (Mountain Hat) used by Austrian and German Gebirgsjger (Mountain Troops) during WWI. Germany had adopted it for Mountain Troops 1915, and after the war it spread throughout the military. This is a very nice service used
