This is a good condition original service worn WWII Japanese Army type 98 tropical sun pith helmet. It still retains a wonderful form with internal bamboo wicker construction. Comes with original pentagonal brass army star insignia pin to the front. It does appear like there were additional insignia at one point. Helmet has part of the original suspension system and original chinstrap. Well marked original labels
