This is an excellent all original example of a late war German Model 42 Steel helmet painted with concrete textured bunker paint. This helmet most likely was originally worn by a German soldier assigned to a German fortification bunker due to the fact that the helmet was quite obviously painted with a thick layer of Deep Green Paint with concrete mixed in, the type and shade of such paint is indicative of the green
